The annual Information Technology and Systems Conference (ITaS) is organized by Council of Young Scientists and Engineers of IITP RAS. The main purpose of ITaS is to bring young researchers together and provide a forum for exchanging research experience and discussing a wide range of topics in the field of information technologies.
Last year more than 100 young scientists from 14 universities participated in ITaS’07 organized in Moscow region. This year the 31st edition of ITaS will be held September 29 – October 3, 2008, in “velvet” season Black Sea coast, Golubaya Volna Resort in Gelendgik city. We encourage young scientists and students of IITP RAS and other institutes and universities to participate in this event and strongly hope that ITaS’08 will become the largest conference ever organized by IITP RAS. Invited leading experts will give keynote speeches and lectures, making ITaS’08 a truly high quality event.
Participants of ITaS’08 will have an opportunity to make an oral or poster presentation of their research achievements. Both Russian and English languages are suitable. The list of topics includes (but not limited to) the following:
- Data transmission networks: technologies, standards, and protocols
- Information technologies and control science in ñomplex systems and networks
- Data transmission, protection and processing
- Computational linguistics and modeling of natural language
- Informational processes in living systems
- Bioinformatics
- Mathematics: information theory, algebra, and number theory

Abstract submission: May 16 June 20, 2008 (Finished)
Full paper submission: June 6 June 20, 2008 (Finished)
Acceptance notification: June 20 July 11, 2008 (Finished)
Camera-ready version: August 1st, 2008
Registration: August 1st, 2008
To participate in ITaS’08 authors are invited to submit an abstract till June 20. Full paper should be submitted not later than June 20. All papers submitted to ITaS’08 will be reviewed by Program Committee. Accepted papers will be included into conference proceedings and published on the conference website.
