Stochastic Anisotropy-based Robust Control Theory (Past, Present, Future)
Anisotropy-based stochastic robust control theory for the discrete time-invariant linear systems will be presented in the report. This theory in the sense lies between traditional H_2 and H_{infty} control theories. The basis of anisotropy-based theory is the concept of input signal "coloration" based on information-theoretic concepts (entropy, relative entropy, mutual information). The performance criterion for closed-loop system based on notion of "coloration" is the key concept as well. The applications of this theory for solutions of practical engineering problems will be discussed. Unsolved problems will be formulated.
