FOURTH ORDER GEOMETRIC FLOW FOR CLOSED 4-MANIFOLDS

In this talk we will present a fourth order geometric flow which is the gradient flow for a quadratic Riemanniann functional. We will emphasize the differences between this flow and the Ricci flow. We will also give some applications of this flow.
