Technology based on the results of fundamental research of IITP RAS will be demonstrated at the major industrial trade fair Hannover Messe

Visillect Service LLC, an IITP RAS small innovative enterprise, will participate in a Hannover Messe 2016 exhibition that will take place in Hannover, Germany from 25 to 29 April 2016.

Hannover Messe is a biggest high-tech trade fair in the world, a forum of inventions and innovations, a center for exchange of experience and a source for new partnerships. It hosts about 6K exhibitors and welcomes more than 200K visitors annually.

On the exhibition stand of Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Government of Moscow (Hall 3, Stand H06), Visillect Service will present a model of Automatic Vehicle Classifier (AVC-4), which demonstrates the cutting edge technologies of industrial machine vision.

AVC-4 is a joint project of two companies, Visillect Service LLC and RUTOLL LLC, designed for automatic billing of vehicles on toll roads. AVC-4 is used on federal highways in Russia for over 3 years. Currently the system is installed in more than 200 lanes and handles almost 0.5M of vehicles daily. The AVC system is unparalleled in that it is fit for use in unfavorable weather conditions, typical to many Russian highways, achieving accuracy up to 99.7 % due to its advanced industrial computer vision technology.

For the development of the AVC-4 system, the team of young IITP RAS specialists Timur Khanipov, Elena Kuznetsova and Anton Grigoriev received the Government of Moscow Award for young scientists in 2015.
